Rafferty’s Shoes – Terms & Conditions (Australia)

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you use the Rafferty’s Shoes website (“Site”) and when you buy products from Rafferty’s Shoes Pty Ltd (“Rafferty’s”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing our Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or purchase our products.

4. Online Store & Orders

4.1 Product Information

We aim to display accurate product details, colours, and sizing.Occasional variations may occur due to screen differences or manufacturing adjustments.

4.2 Pricing

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.Shipping costs are shown at checkout.

4.3 Payment

We accept:

  • Visa / Mastercard
  • PayPal
  • Afterpay / Klarna (if activated)
  • Other payment options shown at checkout

Your order is confirmed only once payment is received.

4.4 Order Acceptance

We may cancel or refuse an order if:

  • The product is unavailable
  • Payment fails
  • We detect misuse, fraud, or suspicious activity
  • There is an error in product information or pricing

If your order is cancelled, you will be refunded in full.


5. Shipping & Delivery

We ship Australia-wide.
Estimated delivery times and shipping fees are displayed at checkout.

Delivery times are estimates only.
We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, natural events, or factors outside our control.

Once your order is delivered to the address you provided, risk passes to you.


6. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Your purchase is covered by Australian Consumer Law and our Returns Policy.

6.1 Eligibility (General Rules)

To return or exchange a product, it must be:

  • New, unused and unworn
  • In original condition
  • In original box and packaging
  • With all tags and inserts included

Used products cannot be returned unless they are faulty under ACL.

6.2 Exchanges

If you would like a different size or colour, you may request an exchange.

Exchanges are processed as:

  • Return shipping paid by the customer
  • You will receive 110% store credit once your return is approved
  • Store credit can be used to repurchase the correct size/colour

6.3 Returns for Refund

If you prefer a refund instead of store credit:

  • Return shipping is paid by the customer
  • Refund is issued to your original payment method
  • Processing takes 5–7 business days after approval

6.4 First-Time Return Bonus

Your first ever return with us qualifies for free return shipping, provided it meets the eligibility criteria.

6.5 Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your product arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect:

  • We will cover all return shipping
  • You may choose a replacement or full refund
  • This does not apply to normal wear and tear

6.6 No Long-Wear Guarantees

We do not accept returns for products that have been worn for weeks or months. We do not offer extended wear-based guarantees.

Australian Consumer Law still applies (see Section 7).


7. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Your purchase comes with automatic guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, including that products must be:

  • Of acceptable quality
  • Fit for purpose
  • As described

If a product fails to meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the nature of the issue.

Nothing in these Terms limits your ACL rights.


8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for loss or damage caused by misuse, abnormal use, or incorrect handling of our products
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
  • We do not guarantee continuous, error-free operation of the Site

This does not exclude liability where prohibited by the ACL.


9. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our Site or placing an order, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined there.


10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Any disputes will be handled by the courts of New South Wales.
