Rafferty’s Shoes – Exchange & Returns Policy (Australia)

Buying shoes for growing feet can be tricky, and we want you to feel supported.

This policy keeps things easy for parents and sustainable for us as a small Aussie brand.


Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for a return or exchange, products must be:

  • New and unused
  • In original condition
  • In the original box
  • With all packaging, tags, accessories, and inserts
  • Without signs of wear, including creases, dirt, marks, or odours
  • Initiated within 14 days of receiving the product

Anything that looks worn, tried outdoors, or damaged will be declined.


Exchanges (New, Unused Items Only)

If you’d like a different size or colour, please email us at hello@raffertysshoes.com to start your exchange.

In your email, please include:

  • your order number
  • the item you would like to exchange
  • the size you would like instead

We will then process the exchange with you by email.

How exchanges work

  • You return the item to us
  • Once your return is approved, 100% of the amount you paid for the product will be applied toward your exchange
  • If this is your first ever return or exchange with Rafferty’s Shoes, your return shipping is free
  • After that, standard return shipping costs apply

Example

If you paid $100 for your shoes, you will have $100 applied toward your exchange once your returned item passes inspection.


Returns for Refund

If you prefer a refund instead of an exchange:

First-Time Customer Bonus

To welcome new families, your first ever return with Rafferty’s Shoes qualifies for free return shipping.

After that, standard return shipping costs apply.


Faulty, Incorrect, or Damaged Items

If something isn’t right due to our error, we’ll make it right fast.

In these cases, Rafferty’s Shoes will:

  • Cover all return shipping
  • Replace the item or refund you in full, including your original shipping cost

This applies only to genuine manufacturing faults or incorrect shipments. Normal wear and tear is not eligible.


Refund Processing Times

Once your returned shoes pass inspection:

  • Refunds take 1–2 business days to process
  • Banks may take an additional 1–3 business days to show the funds
  • You’ll receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed

What’s the difference between an exchange and a return?

You send back an unused product and want a different size or colour in return.

Can I return shoes after they’ve been worn?

No. Once shoes have been worn outdoors or show visible wear, they are not eligible for return or exchange.

What if I received a faulty or wrong item?

We’ll replace or refund it at no cost. Just contact us and include photos.


Can I return items bought on sale?

If stated as “Sale,” they cannot be returned.
